One of priority directions in work of the Gynaecological In-Patient Hospital Perinatal Medical Centre is surgery of pelvic floor, i.e. surgical treatment of descensus and abasement of pelvic organs (uterus, vagina).
The gynaecological in-patient hospital provides for operations, effectively eradicating causes for descensus and abasement of genitals and, as consequence, diseases of functions of pelvic organs (enuresis, constipations, sexual malfunction, and recurrent inflammatory degenerative illnesses of female genitals).

It is important that:
When using surgical methods in the process of treatment, preference is made towards high-tech, sparing and organs preserving operations with the usage of highly specialized equipment, technique and modern materials. Surgical treatment is performed by any ways available in modern medicine, such as:
- Laparotomy (with abdomen incision);
- Laparoscopy (without abdomen incision);
- Vaginal (through vagina).
One of the priority directions of PMC in-patient hospital is pelvic surgery. Advantages of vaginal approach are evident:
- Minimal trauma;
- Usage of a «softer» anesthesia (epidural and spinal anesthesia);
- Less term of staying in hospital;
- Shorter period of post operational rehabilitation;
- Cosmetic effect (without deforming scars and cicatrixes).
High light:
Thanks to availability of physiotherapy and rehabilitation in the Unit, a complex of activities is envisaged for the sake of the speediest rehabilitation of women after the disease acuity is over and after the surgical treatment.
The Unit offers for the patients one- and two-room suites with all modern amenities.
